Boardmeeting April 20th 2016

Dagmar Doubravova, president of the Board, informed Board-Members about the latest developments at RCS.

The collaboration with director of RCS was stopped due to incompatibility of views. This lead to the fact that RCS is again without management. Rubikon Centrum took over this function ad interim.  The two Swiss members of the Board asked for an in-depth analysis of the actual situation, a new business-plan and stressed that the existing tasks should be followed up but no new contracts be signed.

Seminar and workshop of April 21st and 22nd.

Collaborators of local and regional administrative bodies and parliaments came to a Seminar covering the Topic of “Integration of long-term unemployed persons” into the first labour-market.

Rubikon Centrum assisted by VEBO organized the seminar with the financial support of the “Partnership-Fund” funded by Switzerland.

The topic found broad interest. At the beginning Rubikon Centrum thought that some 30or 40 persons would attend. On April 21st more than one hundred persons gathered in the beautiful main Conference-room at the Senate in the Waldstejn-Palace.

Mrs Ivana Cabrnochova, Member of the CZ-Senat opened the Seminar and Mr. Vladimir Zimmel, Vice Minister of justice, outlined the topic and drew a picture of the Ministries intentions.

They showed some of the programmes in detail. A special focus was given on the question of cost and revenues and highlighted some of the key aspects which they consider important to make a program successful in the Czech Republic.

The experts from Zurich explained in the workshop of April 22nd in depth what they consider to be the main success-factors for Work-Integration-Programs. The CZ-participants worked out some subjects, which must be taken into consideration when working in this field.
