Working visit of three VEBO-Members in Georgia

Between the 16th and 19th of July three VEBO-members visited Tiflis in Georgia. Their task was to discuss the findings and suggestions made by the responsible project-managers at the Divine Child foundation (www.divinechildfoundation.org) and to define the next steps.
In the same time they wanted to check potential state- project-partners (such as the Ministry of Social Affairs and Ministry of Justice) whether and how they are interested in a joint swiss-georgian project and how they might be included.
Kristin Crottogini, Herbert Müller and Peter Gründler found VEBO’s partners well prepared and very motivated. The visit in the ministries showed their great interest and left the Swiss side with a good feeling, that the project will be supported from this side.
At the end of the visit both sides decided that VEBO will invite the wo Project-Managers from Georgia to a stage in Casa Fidelio (www.casafidelio.ch) and in the Gfellergut (www.gfellergut.ch) to give them the possibility to study the philosophy, the way they work as well as the therapeutical and socio-pedagogic foundations in their approach including the economic aspects of running such an institution.
