Visit of a Delegation of six Georgian professionals in Zurich

VEBO invited, on a suggestion of Anna Beck (ZKJ) and Theo Eugster (Gefängnisse Zürich), six professionals to visit different institutions in the Canton of Zurich, working in the field of rehabilitation of juvenile and young adult drug abusers.

The tour took place between the 11^th and the 14^th of July 2016. They received a good insight of the diversified structures in Zurich and got an deeper insight into drug policy on both the Canton and the Town of Zurich which is based on the Swiss approach to the problem.

The Georgian visitors were quite impressed of the variety of possibilities, by the professional and infrastructural standards of all the visited institutions. They suggested to install a Georgian-Swiss working group with the task to check whether there is a possibility for GE/CH-collaboration. Both sides agreed to go for a common project by February 2017.
