Romania: Meeting of the Board on March 4th 2016 in Bucharest

The development of the WS in Brasov gives reason for hope.

Alin Paun, CEO of FPSC, informed the Board that he had deposited at the NCU (National Coordination Unit of the Romanian Ministry of Finance) the business-plan and a request for a prolongation of the financing of the CS-Project. This to secure that at least the Workshop (WS) in Bucharest may run until the end of 2017.

On the other hand, it will not be easy to keep open the Brasov-WS by cooperating with a local partner. Now the negotiations are still going on and it is very difficult to forecast the result.

The Board supports the efforts of the management. This mainly as the development of the WS in Brasov gives reason for hope. It runs since several months at a utilization rate between 90 and 110 %, the supply with raw-material (WEEE) was always sufficient and the involved groups gave excellent feedback as to the quality of services delivered by FPSC.

Therefore, it would really be a pity if FPSC had to close down the WS due to lack of finance at the End of June 2016.
